Account and Sign In

LCC Scene Editor supports two usage modes: Login to access the full editing features, or Guest Mode to preview scene content without signing in.

Login

  1. Open LCC Scene Editor
  2. If you are already logged in via LCC Studio, Editor will sign in automatically and go to the home page
  3. If not logged in, click the Login button — your browser will open the login page
  4. Sign in or register an account on the web page
  5. After successful login, you are automatically returned to Editor

Note: Login sessions are valid for 30 days. You will need to sign in again after expiration.

Sign Out

Entry: Settings panel → Account Settings → Sign Out

Guest Mode

V2.1 introduces Guest Mode, allowing users to open project files and preview scenes directly without an account.

Entering Guest Mode

  1. Open LCC Scene Editor without logging in
  2. Import or open a 3DGS / project file
  3. The system detects you are not logged in and automatically enters Guest Mode
  4. A "Guest Mode" indicator and a "Login" button appear at the top

In Guest Mode, the scene is displayed in Preview Mode by default. When switching to the Edit mode interface, all editing operations are greyed out.

Signing In from Guest Mode

  1. Click the "Login" button at the top, or click any editing operation (e.g., Annotation/Measurement/Viewpoint)
  2. A login prompt appears: "You need to sign in to edit. Sign in now?"
  3. Click "Login" → the login form appears
  4. After successful login:
    • All editing operations are unlocked
    • Your current browsing position and view angle are preserved — no need to relocate
    • The "Guest Mode" indicator disappears, replaced by your username and the full toolbar
